Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in Choctaw and Leflore counties in Oklahoma and Sebastian county in Arkansas and was more widespread in northeast Texas and far southwest Arkasas. The precipitation was in the Fort Smith area. Movement was to the northeast at around 15 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches. Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour.
