SOUTHEASTERN SHAWNEE...SOUTHEASTERN WABAUNSEE...SOUTHWESTERN
DOUGLAS...OSAGE AND NORTHERN LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 745 AM CDT...

At 713 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles northeast of Topeka to near Allen.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Osage City, Carbondale, Richland, Auburn, Overbrook, Lyndon,
Burlingame, Scranton, Lone Star, Harveyville, Allen, Admire, Pleasant
Grove, Bushong, Pomona Lake, and Globe.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 141 and 170.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
east central Kansas.
