At 417 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles north of Sunburst to near Shelby. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sunburst, Lothair, Oilmont, Ferdig, Devon, Dunkirk, and Galata. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. If on or near Lake Elwell, get out of the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle.
