Surf Zone Forecast
National Weather Service Tallahassee FL
452 AM EDT Sat Jul 6 2024

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Distant tropical storm Beryl is producing long period swells at our
beaches which will last through the weekend. This will create a
favorable environment for dangerous rip currents. If visiting the beach, please be familiar
with the dangers of rip currents and heed the advice of local beach
officials. Be aware of what beach flags are flying. Single red flags
imply that life threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone.
Double red flags mean that the water is closed to the public.
