The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Caribbean Waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the
  Coastal Waters of Saint Croix...
  Coastal Waters of Southern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...
  Mona Passage Southward to 17N...

* Until 1000 AM AST.

* At 805 AM AST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over the waters south and southwest of
  Puerto Rico, moving northwest at 30 to 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots, torrential
           rainfall and lightning.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
