.DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions will persist areawide through Friday.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon
and again Thursday afternoon mainly from Deep East Texas eastward
into Central Louisiana. A cold front will bring more organized
chances for rain from the north beginning early Friday morning and
continuing into the weekend. Daytime high temperatures will
continue to range in the mid 90s to lower 100s, but behind the
front, temperatures should cool back into the upper 80s to lower
90s for the weekend. Afternoon minimum relative humidity values
will generally range between 40 and 55 percent today and Thursday,
but moisture levels will increase areawide Friday and this
weekend.
