.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to return to our
area fire districts this afternoon and evening ahead of Tropical
Storm Beryl`s landfall along the middle Texas coast. This threat
will only continue to ramp up as Beryl moves inland on Monday into
Tuesday with widespread rainfall expected. Rainfall amounts could
range from 3-6 inches across the western half of the region while
eastern areas will generally see around an inch or less based on
the current forecast track of Beryl. These rainfall amounts could
shift slightly if Beryl`s track shifts one direction or the other.
