CENTRAL JASPER AND SOUTHEASTERN DADE COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM CDT...

At 1007 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of Golden
City to 6 miles northwest of Billings to near Clever. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Willard, Mount
Vernon, Marionville, Clever, Ash Grove, Crane, Billings, Fremont
Hills, Miller, Everton, Brookline, Hurley, Halltown, Avilla, and
Chesapeake.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 46 and 79.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
