.SYNOPSIS...Very warm week ahead for the park. Upper level ridge
offshore Thursday will slowly drift east over the weekend ending
up over the park Sunday and Monday. The center of the ridge will
move off to the east Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures
warming into the weekend peaking Sunday and Monday. Gradual cool
down beginning Tuesday with the ridge moving east.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit will make it difficult to
move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions Friday
through Saturday. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON FRIDAY TO 10 PM PDT MONDAY...
