Well above average temperatures, low relative humidity with poor
overnight recoveries, and high mixing heights continue the upcoming
week. Winds will be locally breezy in the afternoon and evening,
which could result in periods of locally critical fire weather
conditions. A cooling trend is expected beyond the middle of next
week, with low chances for thunderstorms along the Sierra Crest
and higher winds by Thursday into next weekend.

Well above average temperatures, low relative humidity with poor
overnight recoveries, and high mixing heights continue for the
upcoming week. Winds will be mostly terrain driven with typical
westerly afternoon breezes through mid-week. Stronger winds are
then possible by Thursday into next weekend. Conditions will be dry,
but there is a low chance, around 5%, for showers and thunderstorms
near the crest in Mono County on Tuesday afternoon. Additional
chances for thunderstorms returns by the end of the week into next
weekend.
