SOUTHEASTERN HARNETT...NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN WILSON AND SOUTHERN JOHNSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT... At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Pope AFB to 8 miles west of Mount Olive to 7 miles east of Fremont. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Goldsboro, Smithfield, Lillington, Dunn, Mount Olive, Benson, Fremont, Walnut Creek, Godwin, and Micro. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
