...SLOW MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT
FORSYTH...NORTHERN DAVIDSON... NORTHWESTERN RANDOLPH AND WESTERN
GUILFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 407 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of slow moving
shower and thunderstorms along a line extending from Germanton to
near Winston-Salem to 6 miles east of Cooleemee. Movement was east
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Thomasville,
Kernersville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Lewisville, and Archdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall of 1 to 2 inches per hour is also occurring with
these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.
