height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

and northern waters will persist through Wed night while slowly
drifting NW. High pressure will then strengthen W and NW of the
waters Wed and Wed night. A weak area of low pressure over the
southern inner waters will drift SW and pass S of the area by
early Sun. A low pressure trough will persist along the
California coast tonight through Wed night.
