Outside of that, lightning will be possible over the mountains this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected each afternoon. The main hazards from storms will be gusty outflow winds, lightning, and hail. Storms that produce heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding concerns over burn scars and other vulnerable areas. There is a chance for stronger thunderstorms along the eastern border late Saturday afternoon and evening, with the main threats being wind gusts of 55 to 60 mph and hail up to 1 inch in diameter. The areas with the best potential for thunderstorm development will be across the eastern mountains and plains on Sunday, then across the mountains and high valleys for Monday through Thursday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
