  Mississippi River at Thebes affecting Alexander and Scott
  Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Cape Girardeau,
  Alexander, Perry, Scott, Jackson and Union Counties.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid...Moderate flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  - At 11:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 32.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 36.5 feet Wednesday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage Saturday, July 13.
  - Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
