...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river in
Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.

.Recent heavy rainfall in Eastern Missouri and Southwest Illinois
has resulted in rising waters along the Mississippi River. River
levels at Cape Girardeau are forecast to rise again through the end
of the week, remaining in minor flood into next week.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.

* WHEN...Until Thursday, July 25.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 33.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.5
    feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Thursday, July 25.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
