...The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Missouri...
Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau and Thebes.

.Recent heavy rainfall in Eastern Missouri and Southwest Illinois
has resulted in rising waters along the Mississippi River. River
levels at Cape Girardeau and Thebes are forecast to remain in minor
flood through early next week.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Thebes.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 33.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.5
    feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
