Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.

.The Mississippi River continues to fall at Cape Girardeau, and is
forecast to fall below flood stage by Tuesday morning.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs.  The Mississippi
  River backs into several creeks producing flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 33.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue falling thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
