FOR SOUTHWESTERN COMANCHE...WEST CENTRAL COTTON AND CENTRAL TILLMAN
COUNTIES...
At 817 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles northeast of
Hollister, moving south at 25 mph.
HAZARD...70 to 75 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported a 75 mph wind gust in
Hollister.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Frederick, Grandfield, Chattanooga, Hollister, and Loveland.
