...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Johnston,
Coal, southeastern Pontotoc, northwestern Atoka, southeastern Murray
and Hughes Counties through 1230 PM CDT...

At 1139 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles southeast of Wetumka to 5 miles
southwest of Gerty to near Mill Creek. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Coalgate, Wetumka, Allen, Stonewall, Dustin, Tupelo, Mill Creek,
Calvin, Stuart, Bromide, Lamar, Gerty, Horntown, Centrahoma, Atwood,
Pontotoc, Fittstown, Clarita, Olney, and Connerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
