...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY AND
SOUTHEASTERN STEWART COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 515 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southeast of Big Rock, or 11 miles east of Dover, moving east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Cumberland City, Indian Mound, Palmyra, Cunningham, and
Woodlawn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
