Flood Warning for the following rivers in Nebraska...

  Salt Creek At Greenwood affecting Cass County.

  Lincoln Creek Near Seward affecting Seward County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Salt Creek at Greenwood.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Additional lowland flooding continues.
  Downstream at Ashland and its outskirts; both become threatened
  with high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.1 feet...or 0.9 feet
    below flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early this morning to a crest of 21.0 feet this morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage this evening.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* WHERE...Lincoln Creek near Seward.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Rural overflows begin across the area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.8 feet...or 3.2 feet
    below flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 15.4 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
