...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTHWESTERN POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY...

At 751 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain from 2 to 4 inches earlier in the evening have moved east of
the area. This could result in flash flooding in rural areas between
Crescent and Underwood.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Northeastern Council Bluffs, Underwood, Crescent, McClelland and
  Weston.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Pigeon Creek, Keg Creek, Little Mosquito Creek, Little Keg Creek,
  Lapworth Creek, Missouri River, Mosquito Creek and Crescent Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
