At 116 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek to 10 miles southeast of Etowah. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
