This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Heat Indices will approach 100 degrees for many locations across
the central and southern TN valley this afternoon. Make sure to
practice heat safety by staying plenty hydrated and taking
frequent breaks in shaded areas if spending time outdoors. Look
before you lock.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible this evening and
tonight with frequent lightning, heavy rain rates, and frequent
lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Unseasonably hot conditions with heat indices from the upper 90s
to low 100s will continue through Wednesday. Make sure to
practice heat safety by staying plenty hydrated and taking
frequent breaks in shaded areas if spending time outdoors. Look
before you lock.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday and Thursday with
frequent lightning, heavy rain rates, and frequent lightning.
