...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL DELTA...
SOUTHEASTERN MARQUETTE AND ALGER COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 731 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Deerton to 8 miles
northeast of Watson. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Munising, Grand Island, Miners Castle, Pictured Rocks National
Lakeshore, Chapel Lake, Au Train, Chatham, Deerton, Trenary, U.S. 41
between Trenary and Rapid River, Gwinn, K. I. Sawyer Airport,
Skandia, Christmas, Forest Lake, Beaver Lake, Little Lake, Kiva,
Diffin, and Melstrand.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
