...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota
and Wisconsin...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Hennepin, Dakota, Scott and
  Carver Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Scott and Le
  Sueur Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Scott and Carver
  Counties.

  Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Pierce,
  Washington and Dakota Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Ramsey, Washington and
  Dakota Counties.

  Cannon River at Northfield affecting Dakota and Rice Counties.

.Recent rainfall has led to brief rises across southern Minnesota.
Any additional shower and thunderstorm chances through the weekend
will further delay the
eventual recession back into action stage early next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cannon River at Northfield.

* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 897.5 feet, Flood waters reach Carleton College
  soccer fields. Babcock Park north of downtown begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 PM CDT Saturday, the stage was 897.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 830 PM CDT Saturday was 897.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 897.5
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 897.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    898.1 feet on 10/06/2019.

  to experience flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 810 PM CDT Saturday, the stage was 14.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 810 PM CDT Saturday was 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.6
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.7 feet on 05/06/1983.

  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Saturday, the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Saturday was 21.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage early Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.

    ending at 830 PM CDT Saturday was 733.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday morning and continue falling to 729.7 feet Saturday,
    July 13.
  - Flood stage is 732.0 feet.
