PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Baraboo River near Baraboo.
* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, water impacts parking lots near Hwy 33 and
water over Tritz Rd near Hwy 33. There is widespread flooding of
agricultural land.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:00 AM CDT Monday was 17.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this morning and continue falling to 9.4 feet Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
16.6 feet on 03/18/2007.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rock River near Lake Koshkonong.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Floodwaters affect homes and boat docks in
the Blackhawk Island area of Lake Koshkonong on the north side of
the lake. Floodwaters spread over low spots on Blackhawk Island
Road in the area where the Rock River enters the lake.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 10.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:00 AM CDT Monday was 10.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.1
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday evening.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Crawfish River at Milford.
* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 8.2 feet, There is widespread flooding of
agricultural land and lowland. There is widespread flooding in
Riverbend Campground, about 5 miles upstream of Milford. This
level is considered to be about a 20 percent chance flood meaning
there is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the river
reaching this level.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 7.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:45 AM CDT Monday was 8.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Friday afternoon and continue falling to 6.3 feet
Sunday evening.

on South Christian Road on the east side of the river in the Afton
area. Minor erosional flood damage occurs to lowland and
agricultural land adjacent to the river the Afton and Janesville
areas. This level is the 20 percent chance flood meaning that
there is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the river
reaching this level.
