The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Delray Beach to Pompano Beach FL out 10 NM...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 337 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located over Boca Raton, moving south at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Delray Beach, Lighthouse Point, Boca Raton,
  Highland Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes, Hillsboro Beach, Pompano Beach,
  Deerfield Beach, and Fort Lauderdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
