...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
  county, Miami-Dade.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 905 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will
    cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 3 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Miami, Hialeah, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, South Miami,
    Surfside, Kendall, North Miami, Doral, Pinecrest, Miami
    Springs, Miami Shores, North Bay Village, West Miami, El
    Portal, Marlins Park, Downtown Miami, Coconut Grove, Liberty
    City and Port Of Miami.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
