Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
245 PM CDT Tue Jul 2 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Increased moisture and modest 20-ft winds will result in minimal
fire weather concerns through next week, especially as rain
chances increase later in the week. However, lightning starts and
gusty and erratic winds continue to be possible with any storms
that develop. Recovery overnight and Wednesday night will be
moderate to excellent. Relative humidity will bottom out at
14-39% Wednesday afternoon, and 11-38% Thursday.
