Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
245 PM CDT Wed Jul 3 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Increased moisture and modest 20-ft winds will result in minimal
fire weather concerns through next week, especially as rain
chances increase later in the week with the arrival of a couple of
cold fronts. However, lightning starts and gusty and erratic
winds continue to be possible with any storms that develop.
Recovery overnight and Thursday night will be moderate to
excellent. Relative humidity will bottom out at 10-37% Thursday
afternoon, and 18-53% Friday.
