The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Rockingham County in western Virginia...
  Northeastern Augusta County in western Virginia...
  The City of Harrisonburg in western Virginia...

* Until 615 PM EDT.

* At 536 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest
  of Bridgewater, or 11 miles west of Harrisonburg, moving east at 20
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Harrisonburg, Bridgewater, Grottoes, Dale Enterprise, Weyers Cave,
  Dayton, Mount Sidney, Mount Crawford, Penn Laird, Pleasant Valley,
  Rawley Springs, Montezuma, Clover Hill, Mount Solon, Sangerville,
  Keezletown, Hinton, and Staunton Airport.
