Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Weak high pressure will gradually slide offshore through this
evening. This will allow excessive heat, humidity, and daily
thunderstorm chances to continue through midweek. A cold front
will cross the region Wednesday into Thursday. This frontal system
drops south of the area through Friday before returning nearby
over the weekend. Cooler weather is expected behind this system.
