Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
432 AM EDT Thu Jul 18 2024

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A cold front will push south of the area today, with the greatest
chance for showers and a few thunderstorms across central Virginia
and southern Maryland. The front will stall over the Carolinas
tonight and Friday as high pressure builds across the Great Lakes.
As the front lifts back north this weekend into early next week,
the chance for periodic showers and thunderstorms will increase.
Most notably however, temperatures should remain near or slightly
below normal into next week.
