.NOW...
Through 6 pm...isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue to
affect the south-central Texas Panhandle into the northern and
western South Plains. At 5 pm, the strongest activity stretched
from near Olton to Spade, and was moving northeast around 20 mph.
Lightning, brief moderate to heavy rain and wind gusts in excess
of 50 mph will be possible with these storms. If you hear thunder,
move inside a building or vehicle and wait for the storm to pass.
Several locations that may be impacted include Plainview, Hale
Center, Cotton Center and Edmonson.
