Thunderstorms will be possible across the far southern Texas Panhandle and South Plains tonight as well as Tuesday afternoon and evening. Brief heavy rainfall along with strong wind gusts up to 60 mph may be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Temperatures or heat index values near 105 degrees are possible across the far southeastern Texas Panhandle and portions of the Rolling Plains Thursday afternoon. Late-afternoon and evening thunderstorms remain in the forecast for portions of the far southern Texas Panhandle, South Plains, and Rolling Plains from Wednesday through Monday.
