Warning for the following rivers in Missouri...

  Joachim Creek at DeSoto.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO LATE TOMORROW
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Joachim Creek at DeSoto.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 11.1 feet, Near this height, the red brick structure
  at Rollins and Miller will begin flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:40 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 12:40 PM CDT Tuesday was 10.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 11.6 feet this afternoon.
    It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon to
    7.4 feet late this evening. It will rise to 7.7 feet just
    after midnight tonight. It will then fall again and remain
    below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
