...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Kaskaskia River at New Athens.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kaskaskia River at New Athens.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 82.2 feet, The RV lot begins flooding along the left
  bank upstream from the gauge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 74.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Saturday morning and continue rising to a crest of 82.5 feet
    early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 79.0 feet.
