...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

  Mississippi River near Herculaneum.

  Mississippi River at St. Louis.

  Mississippi River at LaGrange.

  Mississippi River at Canton.

  Mississippi River at Chester.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted. The National Weather Service will monitor
this developing situation and issue follow up statements as
conditions change.

* IMPACTS...At 26.6 feet, Within a foot of this height, outer road
  US 67 between Riverlands Way and the Lincoln Shields Access Road
  will close due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 26.6 feet
    early Sunday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

  County, are closed near this level.

  - At 9:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 23.5
    feet Monday morning.

  - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Friday morning to a crest of 29.5 feet early Sunday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday, July
    10.
