.DISCUSSION...

Prolonged period of hot and dry conditions will persist through at
least midweek across interior Santa Barbara County. For the forecast
period, temperatures are expected to remain higher than normal
through the nights with poor overnight humidity recoveries,
generally remaining below 30 percent. Saturday and Sunday are
expected to have very similar conditions. Across western and lower
elevations of the fire, afternoon temperatures could be 5 degrees
lower than forecast, humidities may be 10 percent higher, and winds
may be 5 mph stronger. Timing of exact changes in wind conditions
could be off by 2 hours.
