.DISCUSSION...High pressure will remain over the region today, with
light winds, mostly sunny skies, and relatively low humidity for July
expected. Temperatures will be seasonably warm, with highs reaching
the upper 80s to around 90 degrees this afternoon. Although mixing
heights of 5-7 kft this afternoon should allow for vertical dispersion,
unusually light winds will limit overall smoke dispersion parameters.
Humidity and precipitation chances will begin to increase on Monday,
though widespread precipitation chances are not expected to return
until Tuesday, when moisture associated with the remnants of Tropical
Storm Beryl starts to move into the region.
