The areas affected include... Chandeleur Sound... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... Mississippi Sound... At 757 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located near Horn Island. The cluster of thunderstorms was nearly stationary. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
