At 623 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest
of Whitman, or 31 miles west of Mullen, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Whitman, Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup
River, Duluth, Weir, and Hire.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 2 between mile markers 151 and 169.
Highway 61 between mile markers 167 and 175.
