At 633 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Whitman, or 25
miles west of Mullen, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Whitman, Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup
River, Weir, and Hire.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 2 between mile markers 153 and 170.
Highway 61 near mile marker 168.
