...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHERRY AND NORTH
CENTRAL THOMAS COUNTIES THROUGH 1130 AM CDT...

At 1051 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Brownlee, or 18 miles northeast of Mullen, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brownlee, Giant Hill, and Highway 83 crossing the North Loup River.

This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 155 and 171.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
