...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ROCK COUNTY THROUGH 615
PM CDT...

At 526 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bassett, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bassett, Sybrant, Twin Lakes State Wildlife Management Area, and Pony
Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 162 and 182.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 253 and 266.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
north central Nebraska.
