Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms developed this afternoon
across portions of southwest Nebraska. Large hail occurred in
spots as well as heavy rain across Custer county. High
temperatures were below normal for this time of year. Highs ranged
from the mid 70s to lower 80s.

Cooler yet tomorrow with highs in the 70s at most locations. Hot
weather is coming later this week.
