A Heat Advisory is in effect across western and north central Nebraska this afternoon and early this evening for heat indices of 100 degrees or higher. Isolated thunderstorms are possible across western and north central Nebraska late this afternoon through this evening. Although the risk of severe weather is low, an isolated severe storm may still develop. The primary hazard is damaging wind. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. A Heat Advisory is in effect Monday afternoon and early Monday evening across southwest Nebraska. The area of concern is along and south of Interstate 80. Scattered severe storms are possible across western Nebraska late in the day or during the evening Monday. The area of concern is generally west of highway 83 and the hazards are wind damage and locally heavy rainfall which may cause flooding in some areas. Isolated severe storms are possible across western and north central Nebraska Tuesday.
