Rainfall totals of around 1/4 of an inch are likely across western
and north central Nebraska today. Locally higher amounts near an
inch are possible across southwest Nebraska.

The forecast is for dry weather Monday through Saturday with
building heat. This will lead to humidity falling to 20 percent or
less and a gradual increase in thermal stress across western
Nebraska. Fire weather conditions across western Nebraska will
likely become elevated this week with the best chance for this
across southwest Nebraska.
